Night time in any city presents excellent opportunities to capture demonstrations of our will over & alongside our surroundings

Some scenes show the juxtaposition of nature and man made intervention, like the above. London fog, a still pond, sleeping swans and a century old tree vs a parade of tungsten lamp posts leading into the horizon with a blur of xenon headlights behind the bushes.
